The facilities of Deer Trail School District 26J are modern and conducive to an effective educational experience. In the continuing effort to maintain up to date facilities a new middle school and a meeting room were recently completed. Also a new industrial arts building was added. This building includes well-equipped metal and wood shops.

The district also has provided for well-equipped playgrounds and athletic fields, as well as two gymnasiums for use in physical education and athletics. The district has an olympic size indoor swimming pool for use in physical education classes and public swimming.

The school library is affiliated with the Arapahoe Library District. A wide variety of sources are therefore available to the students and staff.

The district plans to make every effort to provide modern facilities in the future in order to maintain the best possible educational environment.
