2009 ACT High School Poster Contest/Scholarship

Students today have so many fresh ideas about their world and their future.  We want to encourage them to tap into their creativity and possibly qualify for a scholarship.  They can enter the contest by designing a poster that encourages students to plan to attend college and to take the ACT® as their college entrance exam.  We will use the winning design concept to produce the 2009-2010 ACT test date information poster we distribute to high schools nationwide.  The contest is open to high school level students who are residents of CO, LA, OH, VA, or PA and who are applying for 2009 or 2010 admission to a two-year or four-year college in the United States.

The first-place winner will receive a certificate and a $5,000 nonrenewable scholarship to the college of choice, and 25 complimentary copies of the ACT poster, and will also be featured in an ACT news release.  Second and third place winners will receive $2,500 and $1,000 scholarships respectively.  All information is in the March folder and complete official rules are available at www.actstudents.org/postercontest
