Children:
June 7th - 10am - Flat Stanley Poor Stanley, a bulletin board has smashed him flat. Ouch! But now he can do things ordinary kids can’t do...flat things, like going on a vacation in a mailing envelope and flying like a kite. Together we’ll get Stanley ready for summer reading. Dress him up, get him ready to travel, and find some fun flat things you might like too!
June 14th - 10am - Meet a Llama - Have a face to face with a llama. These helpful animals are staples of life in many parts of the world and are loved by children everywhere. Learn more about the gentle pack animals of the mountains with Marlyce Van Zandt.
June 21 - 10am - Bubbles - Last summer’s most popular event is back. See how bubbles can be made anywhere, by anything at anytime. Watch and then try it for yourself. You might even get to be put inside a big bubble yourself!
June 28 - 10am - Barrel of Fun - Whether it’s Pete the Pirate, Rattlesnake Red or Professor Klutz you are guaranteed to laugh until milk flies out of your nose. If milk were served at the library (good thing it isn’t). Art and Terri make kids and parents laugh and clap. Fun for all.
July 12 - 10am- Cinderella Around the World -
Princesses, servant girls and brave lads will partake in some fairy tale fun. Did you know all Cinderellas weren’t girls! You’ll be introduced to lots of Cindy’s, Cinderellis’s etc, play some games, decorate a shoe or two and just have some good old fashioned foot based fun!
July 19 - 10am- Happy Birthday Around the World
Everyone loves a birthday party! Hear a happy story, learn about how kids celebrate birthdays in other places. Of course there will be games and cake!
July 26 - 10am - Drop - In - Crafts
Four crafts for varied ages. Make the world on a plate, a Japanese bookmark and two others.

June 9 - 3pm - Juggle Without a Struggle: Forget juggling life, juggle objects! Come clown around with professional entertainer Abbie Lawrence and learn the art of keeping three or more things in the air.
June 23 - 1-3pm - Making Beats - Using drum programming software, learn how to make your own beats and write your own lyrics.
July 11 - 3pm - Learn Manga - Sharpen your manga drawing skills in this hands-on class. Rob Penna will pass on great tips and tricks for enhancing your manga characters. No experience is needed and all materials are provided.
